Elisa's Goal Project
Elisa had a pretty detailed assignment due for Health, and I was able to help her. Don't get to do that much anymore, since she is learning stuff I have no idea about. Anyway, she had to make a poster about her Goals. I love making posters! I had a lot of fun helping her find pictures of things she wanted to do and places she wanted to go. It was fun and I think it turned out really nice.
Saturday Temple Trip!
On Saturday we were able to go to the Temple with the Allreds. It will most likely be the last time we go to the Temple with them for a while. They sold their house and will be gone to Montana here in the next couple weeks. :( I am really sad to have them go, but I guess it was going to happen sooner or later. I am happy that they were able to sell the house. Anyway, we got stuck in traffic, of course, so we missed the 5:00 session. But, we were there in time to go to the bookstore for a little bit. Then we went and did sealings. It was awesome. (don't know if I can put that in here, let me know if I am wrong) After, we went to Qudoba Mexican grill for dinner. Yummo! I love that place. Too bad it is all the way in Federal way. We got home around 1100. It was a long day, but it was fun. I know emotions are on edge though, cause there were a couple of times that we seemed to be a little moody. It is hard to have best friends leave.
Sunday Spider
Sunday we got up and went to church. When we got home, we had a little friend waiting for us. He had made himself a nice big home in my front flower bed. I had to take a picture. It was too cool to pass up, and Robert wanted to compare it to online photos to see if we had anything to be afraid of. We didn't, it was just a normal ol'e garden spider minding his own business. I did get some cool pics of him before the bug guys came on Monday.
Monday Mariner Maddness!
Well, Monday started off terrible. My vertigo came back and I was completely miserable. I did not have Kylee which seriously was a good thing cause I slept almost all day. I finally talked myself into getting up and taking a shower shortly before Elisa got home from school. When Robert got home around 3 I was still very nauseated from the spinning merry go round in my head. But, after talking with my PA friend Kristi, she told me to try Emetrol for the nausea. It helped and I was able to go to the Mariner game. We left around 4:20 and made it there an hour or so before game time. We were able to park at the coast guard base, or whatever they call it. We used there bathroom, which I learned is called a "head". I was always told that you learn something new every day. This was true here. We walked over to Safeco Field. We had to wait for the famous train to go by. Which was neat. We stopped to get the boys picture in front of the huge Ichiro poster. Our seats were pretty high, but it was a great view of the field. We got the famous garlic fries and chicken tenders for the budget price of $63.00. Can't beat that can you? The kids ate almost all of it, so I really can't complain that much. I didn't eat but a few fries though. I didn't think they would be too nice coming back up. .It was pretty cold, so Robert bought Hot Cocoa. Michael drank his and then said..."I have a brain heat"! I thought that was so cute. The Mariners lost which made Robert happy because he was going for the Angels, but it was a nice time and we got back at a decent hour of 1100. The kids actually didn't give me too much problems getting up in the morning either. That is always a plus!+
Michael getting his "Brain Heat" from Hot CocoaTuesday!
Well, I was still not feeling well, so I made an appt with the Dr. I have sinus issues that leave fluid behind by ears basically and that causes me to have the vertigo episodes. That of course is the run down version. Fun for me! He gave me some medicine to help the nausea and the congestion in my nose, that I didn't realize I had. I feel better, so I guess he might know what he is doing...notice I said might.
Wednesday~McTeacher Night!!
The night that Robby has been looking forward to all month. McTeacher night. He was so excited that he wasn't going to miss his teacher Ms. Gurnsey working at McDonald's. It was a fundraiser for the school where the teachers work and proceeds of what McDonald's brings in goes to the school. The kids have blast seeing their teacher working behind the counter and I think for the most part the teachers have a good time. At least they play the role real well.

Busy week! That's cool you got to go to the temple & a Mariner's game! Sorry about the vertigo--that sounds brutal...especially when you're a mom having to take care of everyone. I hope your Dr. figures it all out for you! That McDonald's fundraiser is a NEAT idea.
