I am a Child of God!

The primary program was on Sunday. Robby and Michael sang the 13th Article of Faith and Robby gave a primary talk. He did so well in front of everyone. I was so proud. My Aunt Patti and Uncle Kim came out so they could see it. Grandma and even Grandpa came to church. The kids were pretty stoked. He left right after closing song, and we followed right after so we could go home and visit. Dad made his Chili. YUMMY! Michael told Aunt Patti that on Sunday we go home and take naps. He said that Uncle Kim and her could have the couch. That was pretty cute. It was a nice relaxing Sunday. Michael had a fever and slept a little. I ended up taking him to the ER on Monday for a nice 6 hour visit. He has/had strep throat. He opted to have a shot instead of taking antibiotics for 10 days. He was so brave. He is feeling a lot better and I am thankful for the shot. For parents like me who forget sometimes to give their kids the antibiotic, it is an awesome thing. Especially for me now with the movers and all! It might have been packed!

Boxes, Boxes, Boxes!

The packers came Tuesday! My house is now boxes. Pretty scary. The movers will be here today. It was supposed to be a two day pack, but they were able to complete it all in one day, so here I sit in boxes! I can't complain too much, at least I got my couch for one more day. Robert got the Uhaul trailer so he can pack up his stuff. Elisa said "I thought you were driving your truck?" We told he to go look at the trailer and then rethink what she said. On her way out she said, "Oh, maybe your truck will go in the trailer." Robert said that she is why they have blonde jokes. She realized after really looking at it that he would be towing it. She is so funny.

Robert packed the trailer yesterday. Kiara didn't like it too much, so she crawled up into the trailer. She wanted to make sure that he knew she was here so he didn't leave without her! She is not happy about all these boxes either. She wimpers and whines every time we leave. Poor thing. The cats are wondering what the heck is going on too. It will all be gone soon, and we will be left in the empty house. Should be very interesting! Well, that's all for now!

Treasured time!

Well, again I have let a little while go without blogging. This one won't be as long. I wanted to post on the 22nd of October, but things got a little busy. It was my "Dady's" birthday. He was able to celebrate this day with our Heavenly Father. He was able to be reuinited with him 9 years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him and think about him. But, I know he is watching me. Anyway, I wanted to share a little about My DADY. First, yes I know I spelled Daddy wrong. I have called him that since I was very young. I worked so hard on a card for him and I spelled his name Dady. He loved it so much, and it just became our thing. My Dady, really was the strongest man I ever met. He is why I am what I am. He taught me things that I share with my kids and always seemed to have words that would encourage me no matter what. My goal was always to make him proud, I never wanted to let him down. He was tough on me, but I know that is important. He loved to golf and do woodworking. He was an excellent cook. He taught me how to make my meatloaf, and many other things. It is a huge blessing to know that I will be able to see him again. Happy Birthday DADY!

Pumpkin Patch~

We joined Grandma on her pumpkin patch trip with the care center. The kids had a lot of fun. We all rode the tractor and got to see all the pumpkins. It was kind of a short trip, but the boys had fun. Elisa was a little confused on why the people from the care center would come to the pumpkin patch when they really couldn't do anything. (like the slide or corn maze) We tried to explain to her that just seeing the other kids have such a good time make older people happy. I don't know if she got it or not. The boys were able to ride home with grandma on her bus. I know they had a good time. It is so nice to be able to do things like that with my mom. I love that she is so close and that she can share special moments with her grandchildren.

These pictures are so cute! We had a good time at the pumpkin patch with grandma. I realize that each day is truely a blessing from our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for the wonderful memories I have and will continue to make with my lovely family.

Done!

Well, I just posted my finals for my classes. Whewie! I am glad that is done. I start new classes tomorrow. Every time it comes to finals, I get so stressed out. And each time, I say I am not going to wait until the last minute again. When will I learn? Hopefully before the next set, I don't know if I can take the stress anymore, and my kids and husband sure can't...haha.
I know they are all glad that this week is over and they have another 8 weeks to prepare for the next time "Mommy has her finals due!". Well, off to bed, before midnight! WOW!!!

A little Fall Change

Well, I am putting off my final project, and thought my blogspot needed a little change. It sure can be time consuming though huh? I am still working on the technically difficulties of my photos on my phone, so look for those in the future. Well, I guess I have put off the inevatable for too long...I need to complete these before Sunday. Better get to work. We have dual basketball games tonight, so I better get busy. Bye!

A lot to catch up on!

Ok...So things have been a little crazy. I know that I just posted on the 9th, but I really didn't do any updates and I feel bad for that. I have been putting it off until I could add pics, which are on my phone. I am having a little of technical difficulties with that at this time and will have to work on that, so look for those to come. So, let's see. Where to begin. I will start with a little about last month acutally.

25 Sep-Happy Birthday Mom! We celebrated at Olive Garden with my Aunt Patti, Heather and Robert. We had a really nice time and I hope my mom enjoyed her day. Now just a little about my mom. My mom is so amazing. To know my mom, is really to love her. She has a positive influence on everyone she meets. She has been through so much in her life, but through the struggles in her life she has truely become the strongest person I know. Everyday I realize how very important she is to me. She loves her grandkids more than anything in the world and they love her just the same. I don't tell her nearly enough how much she means to me. Thanks Mom, for being the person you. I love you!

My mom's birthday a few years ago. We surprised her with a makeover and pictures!

9 Oct-Happy Birthday Dad! We didn't celebrate my Dad's birthday(I can't really remember why) He is kinda a grump. He just says "it's just another day!" I don't agree, but really there is no arguing with him. I felt bad all we got him was a pair of jeans, but he was grateful for them. Now a little about my Dad. He is a very strong man. He has always done what he feels to be the right. In his words, "I do what I have to do!" He has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, which sometimes ends up hurting him. He loves his grandkids and they love him. We are glad he is here with us and hope that he is happy to be here.

Mariner game
10 Oct-Happy Birthday Aunt Patti. No celebrating. Just a phone call. I am so glad that we are so close though. My Aunt Patti is so creative. She can look at something and say, I can do that and then do it! She has always been there for me. I sometimes think of her as a second mom, and my kids love her more than just an Aunt. Michael even calls her Nana sometimes...usually when we are around the cousins. She is a super fun person! Love you Aunt Patti.

OTHER NEWS-
-Robert was off today. We just spent the day hanging out. We were going to take the kids Go Carting, but the boys were not tall enough. Across the street from the Go Cart place was a huge firestation. One look and Michael was in Heaven. We decided to go over and check it out. We found that it was closed, but Michael went up to the bay window and looked in. He waved at the fire-fighters and they came out. We told them that Michael just loves Fire-fighters and is going to be one, so they invited us in. We were able to go in and the kids got to go up and check out the trucks. The station was like 5 times the size of Yelm where we celebrated Michael's 5th Birthday. It was lots of fun and all the kids had fun...even Elisa! (pics soon)

11 Oct- HAPPY 11th ANNIVERSARY!
Robert and I had a great day. The boys had basketball in the morning and early afternoon so we took care of that. Robby won 2nd place in the Hot Shot competition for Basketball. Michael was a little upset because he didn't win, but he was excited for Robby. Ater, we took them over to hang out with grandma. Elisa stayed home and enjoyed the TV to herself!(yikes) Robert and I went to a movie, and the Melting Pot. I have wanted to go there for so long. It was so much FUN! I want to go back. Yes, it is a little pricey, but I think it is so worth it. Robert and I had such a wonderful time enjoying each others company, and surprisingly we had things to talk about. We walked around downtown by the Tacoma Glass Mueseum before dinner. The weather could have not been more perfect. It was cool but not cold and it wasn't raining. It was really neat to see the outside glass work. I would like to go see inside. (pics soon)
So, why I love Robert so much. Robert is so unique~ He loves what he does and gives 110% to everything all the time~ He is a soldier whole hearted and will defend what he does with everthing he has.~He loves sports of all kinds and has his favorite teams~Which he loves to watch when he can~ He is competitive in everything he does and HATES to lose anything~ He hates to be wrong~ He loves his children more than life~ He is his childrens' Hero and mine too~ He is patient with my many mood swings~ He helps me when I need it and knows when not to try and help~ He is my Eternal Companion~ No words could ever really express how grateful I am to him or how much I love him~ Happy Anniversary Robert...thanks for 11 wonderful years and I look forward to many more!
Well, if any of you have lasted this long...I think that is enough for now. I will try and get pics up soon. I know my mom is wanting them. Hope I didn't bore you all too much. More soon!

"Nothing is as constant as change"

Well, I have to say that I am very disappointed in myself. I have been terrible at blogging lately. Not exactly sure why, I guess my mind has been overloaded with things. Things that really I can not do anything to change, so why worry about them. Anyway.....
Conference last weekend was absolutely amazing. I loved hearing the words that were spoken to us. I was overcome with the spirit when President Monson spoke about finding joy in the journey...NOW! Those words pierced my heart. How often do we truly worry about things that really will have no impact on what happens in the future, but fall short about taking care of the things that need us now? I know I sure do. "Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved today!" WOW!! I really felt as if he were speaking to me. I am trying to remember those words and let them help me make choices that will effect my family in a positive way. Here are a few more quotes I want to share today. I didn't want another day going by without writing about the impact conference has had on me this last week. I hope that I can make a positive change in myself and in my home, not just this week, but everyday! I am so grateful for the guidance and love the First Presidency has for us. I truly feel their love and the love of my Savior. What a wonderful blessing to have in our lives.
"One day we will all run out of tomorrows"

"Our realization of what is most important in life goes hand in hand with our blessings"

"There will be no tomorrows to remember if we do nothing Today!" WOW!!!

I hope to write more in the next couple of days about what we have been up to.
