Do the Puyallup
(Warning: little lengthy and very shaky...and funny!)
Well, Friday we went to the Puyallup fair. The kids had free tickets so we said what the heck. Elisa brought her friend Jayden after a long ordeal on finding a friend to go. Anyway, it was a good time. The fair is like Disneyland though, really you can not see it all in one day if you tried. Not to mention that we didn't get up there until around 5:30. The first show we saw was the Juggling comedian. He is very funny. We have seen him before. Well, this time Robby was picked for the volunteer. He was very nervous, but he did such a great job. The cutest thing is when the guy called on Robby This is how it went:
Juggler: How, old are you?
Robby: "I'm 9"
Juggler:"Oh, I'm sorry you have to be 10....So, how old are you?"
Robby looking a bit confused, replied: "9!"
The juggler laughed and said..."Oh, well you still have to be 10, so, again how old are you?"
Now, at this time I am thinking should I tell Robby to say he is 10? Instead I whispered to him, "you are almost 10.
So Robby exclaimed: "I am almost 10!"
The juggler laughed harder and said: "well, at least you are honest, that counts for something. So we will let it go."
The video tells the rest. I was laughing pretty hard, so it is a bit shaky. Too cute not to share though. Enjoy.
Oh, and Robby was so sweet, he gave Michael his poodle named "Elephant" and when we bought the poster, he asked Roberto to sign the poster to Michael as well. I was very proud.
The weekend was uneventful so I don't have any other news to share. I have recovered from my tubing injury. I am feeling pretty good. Now I just need to get caught up on my schoolwork and the house work too. Yeah me!

Tubing Aftermath!

Whoo hoo Elisa!
Elisa tried to waterski today! I was so proud of her for getting out there and trying. The weather was nice, but the water was pretty cold. She tried really hard, but she didn't get up. We even had a little problem with the boat and I thought she was going to say forget it, but we were able to have Ryan and Tiffany's friend/neighbor pull her. I know she wanted to get up, but she did try hard and the water being cold made it hard. I got up once, but not for very long. After being in the water trying to help her, I was cold and my hands were so numb I couldn't hold the rope. It was still a lot of fun. the kids did the tube and Robert and I did it even with Elsia. I got thrown off of the tube. It was a shock to my system to hit that cold water, but it was lots of fun. Tiffany and Ryan are awesome for letting us join their day and inviting us to play in the lake on the boat. I owe learning to waterski to Ryan. It is pretty cool to say that I can waterski. Wish we could have hung out more this summer....where does the time go?

Complete Family again!
Elisa is home~Finally. Yeah I know, many of you wonder how I could miss all the drama. But, I did and I am so happy she is home. She is too (I think). I know she had a good time with her mom, and I am sure that it was hard for her to come home. I wish that she didn't have to do this every year. Hopefully someday we will live closer to where it will be an easier trip. We didn't do much after she got home. Just hung around the house. She cleaned her room, yes I did type that correctly. And put away all of her clothes. We just had a realaxing day at home. We did buy a new game for the wii. It is a pretty fun game. I will blog more about it later. We are glad to be a complete family again!
~Other News~
More than Chocolate Eclairs~
So, I have to write this about my dear friend. She is truely an inspiration to me. From the first time I spoke with her I knew she was a very special woman. I love talking with her and feel like I use her for her infinite wisdom. I know if I want to know something, then I can ask her she will have the answer. I love listening to her speak of her passions, like the elections. Anyway, the other day she shared with me her chocolate eclairs. Now, I don't know how she knew, but I have been wanting an eclair for a while now. I even looked to see if Walmart had some the other day. Then, low and behold she brings me some. I loved them. They were very good, and rich. I had two, (two-too many)! I actually had more than that cause Robby didn't like his and I couldn't let it go to waste. So, I need to thank her for helping me have to run an extra mile or so to burn off those calories...Thanks Sharlene. I love ya!
Taylor Jane Swainston~

Today Taylor was blessed. It was a very special blessing given by her dad. After Sacrament we went back to their house for brunch. We had a nice time and were very blessed to be able to share this special day with the Swainston Family. Thanks Jennis and Justin for letting use share this special day with your family. We love you!

Just around
Elisa comes home on Saturday. I am excited for that. Then we have last minute shopping to do for the kids and get a few more clothes. But, for the most part I am done and they are ready.
Serious note-
I found out Tuesday that a friend of mines (in Germany) husband died in Iraq. I was really saddened by the news. I was just thinking about her and her boy last week. Wondering about them. We weren't close friends, but friends none the less. It made me more sad is that it happened a year ago. I haven't talked with her since I left Germany. It made me realized two very important things. Keep in touch with the people you meet and care for. And, be very grateful for the blessings you receive. That night I looked at Robert while he was sleeping and was very grateful he was there. No words could ever express that.
